E.O.111212018 – An order to approve 40 hours vacation time for Michael Grovo.
E.O.111212019 – An order to approve 82.51 hours vacation time for Susan Myers.
E.O.111212020 – An order to appoint Sheridan W. Bennett to the position of Emergency Management Agency, Director, to be effective until December 31, 2014.
E.O.111212021 – An order to appoint Joan M. Weeman to the position of Municipal Records Officer to be effective until December 31, 2014.

Special Town Meeting Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at 7:00 p.m., to vote on adopting a Fireworks Ordinance for the Town of Buxton.
Selectmen’s Meeting Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at 7:10 p.m., or immediately following the Special Town Meeting.
There will be a Blood Drive at Buxton Town Hall on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, from 11 AM ~ 4:00 PM. All donors will receive a coupon for a free pound of Dunkin Donuts Coffee.

The Town of Buxton currently has a position open to fill a vacancy on the Planning Board until it is filled at the next annual municipal election in June, 2012. If you are interested in serving on this Board, please contact the Board of Selectmen by December 31, 2011 at 207-929-5191.
The Town also has a position open for a Full-time Transfer Station Attendant. Interested persons should fill out an application at the Transfer Station or Town Office or mail a Resume to Buxton Transfer Station, 185 Portland Rd., Buxton, ME 04093. Please call Greg at 207-929-3913 for more information. Applications will be accepted through January 6th at 4:00 p.m.
Please remember to license your dog(s) for 2012. After January 31st a late fee of $25 per dog will be charged.
Town Office will be closed Monday, December 26th and Monday, January 2nd, for Christmas and New Year holidays.
The Transfer Station will be closed Tuesday, December 27th, and January 3rd, for the holidays. Curbside pick- up will not affected at all so trash will be picked u p the same day it usually is picked up.
